Background
Design X-press was formed in August 1995 to provide a design and print service to the retail trade and incorporated in March 1999. In January 1999 we moved to our present location in Consett, Co. Durham. Over the years our portfolio has grown and today includes many companies which are household names. These include Co-op, Thorntons, Fonehouse, Somerfield and Coloroll but to name a few.

The company operates in three distinct departments.
Projects come into the design section, pass through to print and then on to the finishing department. We aim to turn around a straight print and finish job in 72 hours, a fact which has been 'the saving grace' for several print buyers in the past. The turnaround we provide is second to none and we are constantly focusing on developing our product range and equipment,. This ensures we offer you up to date technology, competitive prices coupled with excellent service.
Print is output on a range of printers including Encad, Kodak, Epson, and Xerox and finished on Seal laminators. The printers we use provide graphics of ultimate clarity and sharpness and can be adapted to most applications, both indoor and outdoor.

Managing Director, Juliette Middlebrough retains an active "hands on" role within the day to day running of the bureau. Design X-Press encompasses a professional and friendly staff who are fully trained and able to assist you in all aspects of your project, from the creativity of our design team though to production and delivery.
